Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 7 June 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who accesses aitronos.com or uses any service provided by aitronos AG ("Aitronos"), including our AI product Freddy. It supplements and forms an integral part of our General Terms and Conditions.

1 General principles

You must use our website and services lawfully, in good faith, and in a way that respects the rights, safety and privacy of others. You are responsible for everything that is done under your account or on your behalf.

2 Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation, including export controls, sanctions, data-protection, consumer-protection or anti-spam laws;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or contractual rights of any third party;
  • upload, generate or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually exploitative of minors, or that incites violence;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, accounts or data, or probe, scan or test their security without our written consent;
  • introduce malware, ransomware, worms, time-bombs or other harmful code;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the services (e.g. denial-of-service, excessive automated requests, abuse of rate limits);
  • circumvent authentication, billing, throttling or usage-metering mechanisms;
  • resell, sublicense or make the services available to third parties beyond what your contract allows;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, extract or replicate our models, prompts, workflows, training data or output for the purpose of building a competing product;
  • use the services to send unsolicited communications, phishing attempts or fraudulent material.

3 Responsible AI use

AI outputs from Freddy and other Aitronos services are probabilistic and may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. You must:

  • not present AI outputs as legal, medical, tax, financial or other regulated professional advice;
  • independently review AI outputs before relying on them, sharing them or using them to make consequential decisions;
  • keep an appropriate human-in-the-loop for any decision with legal, economic or safety-relevant impact;
  • not use the services to generate disinformation, deepfakes intended to deceive, manipulated political content, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that impersonates a real person without their permission;
  • not use the services to make fully automated decisions about individuals that produce legal or similarly significant effects, unless permitted by applicable law and disclosed to the data subject;
  • not feed personal data into the services that you are not lawfully entitled to process.

4 Data and security

You are responsible for the lawfulness, accuracy and quality of data you submit. Do not upload data you do not have the right to share, and avoid uploading sensitive personal data (special categories under GDPR Art. 9, payment card data, government IDs) unless your contract expressly covers it. You must use reasonable security measures, including strong unique credentials and prompt access revocation when staff leave.

5 Reporting abuse and security issues

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, a security vulnerability, or content that should not be on our platform, please report it to info@aitronos.com. Include enough detail for us to reproduce and investigate. We aim to acknowledge reports within five business days.

6 Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate and proportionate, including warning you, removing content, throttling, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law-enforcement authorities. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination for cause without refund and without prejudice to our other rights.

7 Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. The current version is always available at aitronos.com/acceptable-use. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date above.
